Job Description/Responsibilities
As part of the Primary Health Care team, the Registered Nurse Extended
Practice (RN EP) applies current nursing and medical theory to the
provision of care, autonomously ordering and interpreting diagnostic
tests, pharmacologic agents and performing minor invasive procedures and
in the implementation of strategies to promote health and prevent
illness and exercises proficiency in planning, implementing and
evaluating complex care. 
Qualifications

 • Active practicing membership on the RN Extended Practice Register
of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Two years full time equivalent experience in a community health
setting
• Demonstrates RHA Central Competencies
• Good work and attendance record
• Proficient in both official languages is required. 
**The candidate must be able to understand and speak French at a
proficiency level that allows them to sustain varied in-depth
conversations with clients and families.  Language proficiency will
be evaluated in order to asses the applicant’s proficiency level.
